Throw on headphones and zen out to some sparkling Mojave night sky stars and star trails timelapses. Shot at various locations surrounding Joshua Tree National Park, this night sky compilation uses a full moon to “paint” the foreground, giving the visuals a surreal psychedelic “daylight” feeling. Exposures were 20 seconds. Shot on Canon 6D. Lenses Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L USM Wide Angle Lens and Rokinon 12mm f2.8. This project is being produced by Gavin Heffernan and Harun Mehmedinovic in collaboration with International Dark-Sky Association (https://bit.ly/3x7slf8), a non-profit fighting for the preservation of night skies around the globe. International Dark Sky Week is coming up too – April 22-28th!
