Clint Smith sees a possible remedy: storytelling. Through his work as a poet, educator, and activist, including an innovative program at the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, Smith often confronts how we’re socialized to simplify others down to their race, their class, or even just their worst moment. The same is being done to us, and thus our lives can feel riven by social divides. But if we learn to tell our own stories—to explore our emotions, and to captivate the emotions of others—we can fully engage with our shared humanity. Smith’s experience as a poet has made him adept at teaching these key storytelling tools, which he’ll be sharing at this year’s FoST.

Patagonia 8K explores the beautiful and rough landscapes of southern Chile and Argentina. Shot in 8K resolution on a medium format camera it’s aimed to deliver the most realistic experience. Shot in 6 weeks, travelling over 7500km from Santiago to Punta Arenas we captured roughly 100.000 still frames that combine into this timelapse video. “ WANDER IN TURKEY ” is one of my travel series video. I really like having no plans when i’m in unfamiliar place. I just wanders which makes me face unplanned situations and people. Sometimes I can melt into their daily life and have a deep relationship. After walking camino in spain , i went to porto for having a break time.
