Drawn to Atlanta by his love of hip-hop, Zach Wolfe has photographed some of the industry’s biggest names—and it all started when a chance encounter led to a big break. https://adobe.ly/2E1C3Dr In 1996, Wolfe, then 18 years old, heard the debut album of Atlanta-based hip-hop duo OutKast, and his life would never be the same. Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik was a distinctly Southern hip-hop album, and it put Atlanta hip-hop on the map. The first time Wolfe listened to it, he thought, “I don’t know what’s going on in Atlanta, but I have to go there.” Read more at: https://adobe.ly/2E1C3Dr Credits Sr. Creative Director: Dan Cowles, Adobe Sr. Video Producer: Summer Wilson, Adobe Director and Editor: Trevor Gavin, ALCHEMYcreative Producer: Laura Techera Francia, ALCHEMYcreative Director of Photography: Will Myers, ALCHEMYcreative 1st Assistant Camera: Neil Dearman 2nd Assistant Camera: Alex Smith Gaffer: Todd Gardner Grip: Zakk Martin Sound Operator: Kevin Jones Makeup: Hope Ferguson Production Assistant: Eric Kays Color Correction: ALCHEMYcreative

“On paper we’d come in search of the biggest ski lines of our lives. But the reality was that we simply had come to celebrate friendship. To withdraw into the wild, to remove distractions and cell service and emails, and to invest purposeful time into being together. A crowd moving in one direction.People who flow in a moment. A scene where the difference with other people disappears and looks uniform. There are many different kinds of life there. You can feel invisible energy when you see a large mass of individuals. I set myself in the streets of Taiwan, and I multilayered a lot of time to create a new timeline that reflects individuals.
