Korean artist Do Ho Suh draws attention to the ways viewers occupy and inhabit public space. Interested in the malleability of space in both its physical and metaphorical manifestations, Suh constructs site-specific installations that question the boundaries of identity. His work explores the relation between individuality, collectivity, and anonymity (Miwon Kwon – The Other Otherness: The Art of Do Ho Suh). This film shows some of Suh’s artworks displayed in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan. The exhibition was titled PERFECT HOME. * Executive Producer: Doho Suh Producer: Paul Choi Production Assistant: Hiromi Kurosawa, Kenzo Kodama Director, Cinematographer & Editor: Nils Clauss Steadicam Operator: Wonho Son Assistant Camera: Sungil Lee Graphic Design: In-ah Shin Music: “like caustic lights bending backwards” by Offthesky * List of exhibits in order of appearance: – 348 West 22nd Street, New York, NY 10011, USA – Apt. a, Corridors and Staircases (Kanazawa Version, 2011-2012) – Seoul Home / Seoul Home / Kanazawa Home (2002-2012) – Wielandstr. 18, 12159, Berlin, Germany-3 Corridors (2012) – Fallen Star – 1/5th Scale (2008-2012) – Home within Home – 1/11th Scale Prototype (2009) All artworks are copyright protected by Do Ho Suh * www.nilsclauss.com http://bit.ly/1ElWG2J http://bit.ly/1INmZ9K
