Comedian Kyle Kinane approached MEISTER to create an animation to promote the launch of Kyle’s new album, “Trampoline in a Ditch.” Kyle and his team were very open about letting MEISTER loose with this project. After listening to the album, we were asked to pick a track and develop treatments and concepts that could bring some additional color to Kyle’s voice. Ultimately we landed on a Stop Motion animation inspired 3D Lottery Ball world and a semi-traditional 2D animation that asked the hard questions about ‘Where did do all the old Kyles go?’. We story-boarded, developed styleframes, animated, modeled, rigged, texture, etc – we did every part of the project you see here in the final 2:00 video
