“Leon Reid IV’s 3D-Print Poetry”
MakerBot Store Hosts Brooklyn Artist – August 28, 2014, 7:30 p.m.
The invitation-only event will showcase Leon Reid IV’s 3D printed work taking viewers on a journey from his original roots as a graffiti artist to his transition into the realm of 3D printing. The experience will include a live exhibition where Leon will compose and output a series of lyrics, verses, and statements using MakerBot Desktop 3D Printers.
Reid IV’s work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in the United States, South America and Europe. “Connecting with a 3D printed object that one created is not unusual,” stated Reid IV. “Connecting with the printer itself, however, is something new and exciting for any poet, artist or 3D printing enthusiast.”
